I bought one of these in 2014, it worked well and was happy with it. Well I ordered a second one for another car and they have since reduced the cost. The new devices look the same from the outside, but the brightness of the LEDs on the new one is so weak that you can no longer read it during the day. Also, the new one was dead on arrival and didn't recognize the sending device. It showed a full 300 degrees with the transmitter plugged in (as if the transmitter was not plugged in). I checked the connections with a multimeter and even tried this sensor on another machine with a known good sensor. DOA.Sun. Your mileage may differ from this product but I am not happy with these changes over the past 5 years on this product.
