very good sensors, would buy more of these

Great sensor, far exceeded my expectations and the toned face is nice on a day when it's sunny outside and the LED light is very bright through the enlarged lens . Also very accurate, oil temp and oil pressure are linked to my Infiniti g35.

Useful and looks great

It was bought with the oil pressure and transmission temperature sensors and in 8 months still no problems. Very useful for determining how hard the engine is running and a good indicator of whether the engine is fully warmed up or not. Other features like dimming and color selection make this sensor a very good deal.

The wiring harness supplied is very cheap and has almost no threads in the wires

Installed last weekend. Seems to be working fine. I would put the quality of the actual sensor at 3/5. Visibility is 2/5 during the day and 3.5/5 at night. The supplied wiring harness is very cheap and the cables have almost no strands. Next time I will probably choose a higher quality sensor.

Went a bit crazy

Super easy to install, instructions are perfect. Installed in the car for a few weeks. Worked fine but for 10 minutes while driving it crashed and read max then read nothing then went back to normal and rocked up and down before going back to normal. Not repeated, but still nervous, now there is no accuracy

It seems pretty accurate. corresponds to a different glow shift.

Looks pretty much the same. fits perfectly with other glowshift sensors. (I have 3 wires in series) Doesn't remember what color it was the last time it was turned off and the default blue is absolutely blinding at night so I just unplugged the switching power supply after touching my radio and the fuse blew. The red needle stays bright enough to see what temperature it's pointing to. Function 5/5.

The first 5 years ago was good, the second. not as much.

I bought one of these in 2014, it worked well and was happy with it. Well I ordered a second one for another car and they have since reduced the cost. The new devices look the same from the outside, but the brightness of the LEDs on the new one is so weak that you can no longer read it during the day. Also, the new one was dead on arrival and didn't recognize the sending device. It showed a full 300 degrees with the transmitter plugged in (as if the transmitter was not plugged in). I checked…
