feels like a new truck again

I've changed my truck's steering many times, didn't realize before how bad it was, bought shock absorbers and they popped out too, never changed them, very happy that I did it . Now I have to install shock absorbers. it can feel like a new truck.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not trendy

Didn't notice any improvement in Ford's death wobble

We put new tires on and that helped a bit. After installing this new damper, however, there was no improvement. The damper shaft is fairly easy to move in or out, so this is probably the biggest indicator of poor performance.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Fine

Great power steering product

Unfortunately the unit sent to me was not for the 4X4 Excursion version. It wasn't discovered until after installation when I tried to park and couldn't turn far enough. The damper was too short. It has since been replaced with the correct unit again and our steering is great again. We threw away the box so we couldn't return the wrong block.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Very expensive

Will not fit all vehicles

I bought this in late 2020 but only recently attempted to fit this steering damper. The system recommended this item upon purchase and gave me the green light that it "fits my car". It turns out that this is not the right anti-roll bar for my car, Ford F350 2010, Lariat, SRW 4x4, 6.4 Diesel. Make sure you find the correct stabilizer bar on Ford or other websites to get the correct part number which is SC2975. Unfortunately, I missed the returns window, so I'm sticking with this article for now.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Affordable replacement that works

I installed this on my Ford E450 Class C motorhome. Installation was easy except for the passenger side mounting bolt. The center link is right behind the bolt so you can't drop the stabilizer bar.🀬 I had to remove the bracket that attaches to the chassisπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ. Not the end of the world, but still 30 minutes. It took an hour and a half to remove the old one and install the new one. Holds the steering wheel well. The price is worth it if you know how to turn wrenches. The impact-resistant PS…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Does not fit 2007 E450 Van/Motorhome

Updates Revain and some other websites show it to fit Ford Van E350 and E450 chassis used in Class C motorhomes Behind the flange on the underside, the additional rubber protection of the piston serves to hold it. The flange prevents proper assembly to the stabilizer bracket. Original steering damper / OEM steering damper: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001KR758M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and optional Bilstein Heavy Duty steering damper: https://www.amazon.com /gp/…

Pros
  • Hands free operation

The Monroe shock absorber has a larger diameter of both the shock absorber and the piston than the OEM, it fits perfectly and would have taken 5 minutes to install except the bolt is too long and hits the tie rod so I had to drop the bracket attached to the frame (pain). I'll come back and correct the review after actually driving the RV, but I expect good things from the new Monroe damper. Update: I was driving a campervan today and the lateral movement I had to constantly control is gone, I…

Pros
