Better than foam but not great cream

Was looking for an alternative to Trader Joe's Mango Shaving Cream and gave this a try. (I don't feel comfortable buying Trader Joe's oil.) Van Der Hagen oil doesn't moisturize or promote a close shave. I find my razor to bounce and stick to this product even though I use it more or less. Maybe it works better for facial shaving, but I'm a woman and it didn't help me much. My search continues.
