I was a little apprehensive as the water box seemed a bit fragile, but I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of features it offers! BENEFITS: The humidifier has a modern look and is easy to set up, with clear cleaning and maintenance instructions. - It's so quiet, no buzzing noises! So definitely suitable for light sleepers - There are different mist levels to choose from depending on how strong you want the mist to be - you can set the humidity level you want to achieve! (from 45 to 80% RH in 5% increments). The device measures the temperature and humidity in the room and switches off automatically when the set level is reached. I especially like it as I don't like leaving it on all night which makes my room too humid. - There is also a timer, so there is another auto-off option. - Sleep mode bonus: the light on the control panel can be turned off by pressing and holding the humidity button so the light doesn't disturb. CONS: - The only thing is that there is still the sound of water running down while it is working. I would have preferred it to be super quiet, but that's just me. Many people like this sound as it is also white noise.
