These shorts are very soft and comfortable for sleeping. However, the button closure is a bit unreliable. The locking button is too high so you have to be careful not to let anything fall out. I add a latch at the bottom of the hole where there is nothing to hold it closed (about 3-4 inches down the hole). If you plan on wearing them at home (or around others), you might want to try them out beforehand.
