UPDATE: Another threaded insert was sent to me. It was the same size as the previous one. Now I don't know where the thread info is for the 2015 Ram 1500 entry. Maybe my antenna receiver was out of specification. I do not know. All I know is that the old one fits and this one doesn't. BUT! Since real men have and can use tools, I pulled out my handy dandy, a set of standard taps and dies, measured the TPI, and tapped a hole with a 1/4×20 tap. Maybe I just cleaned it. Maybe I changed the subject. The antennas now fit perfectly without spacers. So I'm changing my rating to 4 stars. Yay. I can change the rating later if the vendor responds with a solution. But as it is I think it's a 3 star product. Mainly because it works well. And the antennas themselves are discreet and a MUST for the look of my 2015 Ram. That's why we bought it, right? Otherwise we would just use standard antennas. And thus 3 stars. Because there is a BIG gap between the mast and the mount. The only spacer that was sent was a plastic ring about 1/8 inch wide. It is also in the picture I am attaching. I think my main gripe is that it's just a plastic ring. Why not include 2-3 spacers of different lengths? to ensure a good fit? It's just cheap plastic. I think it will be cheaper than sending back postage or losing sales due to mediocre reviews. Either way, it works. Can I make a pad for this? if I wanted to "get it working" I wouldn't order new antennas.
