I play in several leagues and comfortable shoes are important to me. But I don't like $300 shoes either. When I'm working full time I wear my boots all day, so when I'm not working they slip a lot. That's why I love these shoes. I shoot the slides, put on my shoes and in 30 seconds I'm ready for the lanes. When I'm done, slide them and get them back on the slides in seconds. There's a lot of slippage on the track, but you won't travel forever like you're on ice. I don't usually slip much, so these fit into that category. The shoes are very light and very comfortable for me. I would recommend them to be more relaxed, having fun but trying to play well, bowler, than someone looking to get a 265 average.
