I bought a size 38 (I usually wear a US 7) and they fit me perfectly. At the same time, my feet are wider at the toes and narrower at the heel. Technically, that size is 7.5 inches, but the toe box is wide and roomy enough that it really fits me. There is room behind my heel, but the ankle straps are adjustable and can be tightened to keep my foot from moving. The quality goes way beyond what I expected - these shoes are what I expected from Nordstrom. I am very impressed with the quality and will definitely be buying more in other colors!
