This is a full-featured and easy-to-use baby monitor. Very easy to install and comes with a handy swiveling wall bracket. I haven't really checked the battery life, but the monitor has an auto power off, so I'm guessing it's decent. The camera offers good resolution, good sound and you can talk between the two devices. There is a cool music function that allows you to play different lullabies in your baby's room. Note that this camera doesn't have remote pan and tilt control, but that's to be expected at this very affordable price point. The field of view is pretty wide, so if you put it in the corner of a medium-sized bedroom, you'll be able to see and hear almost everything. We bought this particular device because it *needs* no internet; We are sending it to our brother-in-law and sister-in-law in the Philippines because they don't have wifi or internet access at home. But with this device, they can keep an eye on their two young children.
