I bought this Wi-Fi router to use as a repeater/extender for my existing network. My basic Wi-Fi router is the Netgear Nighthawk, which broadcasts a strong Wi-Fi signal (190 Mbps wireless) in a 40-foot corridor with a few curves; However, once the signal moves through a corridor with twists and turns due to walls etc., it must make a 90 degree turn to the final end point where the signal strength is reduced. Setting up Wavlink was a simple process, I logged in, selected WISP, checked my existing Wi-Fi network, selected the right one, entered my basic router password and voila, everything worked like clockwork. Sign up and set a WiFi password. I placed the WAVLINK at the intersection of the 90 degree turn and there was an echo/extended signal. I got download speeds of around 15 Mbps to 22 Mbps on my endpoint, now I'm getting 65 Mbps to 75 Mbps.
