I would buy this again and again.
I didn't have high hopes for this, but it's definitely solid. There's enough friction to hold it in any position and not stiff enough to stop it when you want it to. I move it frequently so passengers can see, and I can set it higher if needed so the phone's power doesn't interfere with manual driving. Overall I would buy again without any problems.
