The sound box enters the restart sequence when the locomotive horn sounds.
The resonator goes into restart mode when the locomotive horn sounds. It doesn't restart every time but gets worse every time I start my layout. Kato is known for making quality gear and my situation may be very isolated and shouldn't be a cause for concern, but I plan to contact the company and see what kind of approval I can get and I'm sure everyone will let you know how it's going.
- The Soundbox doesn't just make noise - it reads the engine load on your engines and knows how fast they're moving and how hard they're working. Some audio schemes (e.g. Steam, where the noise is directly related to the visual movement of the sidebars) automatically adjust the audio to match the speed of the locomotive, so what you hear matches what you see without the DCC is required. !
