Review on πŸ‘ƒ Premium 100pcs Washable Reusable Aluminum Nose Bridge Strip for Sewing Face Masks – Bendable Metal Nose Wire Pieces for Cloth Masks by Amanda Castillo

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Half Thick

At the beginning of the pandemic I stole the metal nose clips from a pair of old, dirty dust masks lying around my house and used them in my homemade masks. They work fine. I wanted to share more with my family and didn't want the sticky ones so I could switch between masks so I found these. I just put on a mask and to be honest it looks pathetic. The dimensions of the product are exactly as advertised so it's my fault I didn't actually put the battery in my calipers when I measured the old lugs before ordering but realistically while the width and length match what what i took away from my dust masks, they're a little better than half the thickness (0.6mm for this versus 1mm for dust masks) and that makes a big difference. They are not stiff enough to hold the mask on your nose and cheeks. They're better than nothing, but not by much. They're roughly equivalent to the pipe cleaners my mother-in-law sent with my daughter's masks, and I could probably make something tougher with tightly folded, heavy-duty aluminum foil from my kitchen drawer. A bent paper clip is definitely stiffer. I haven't tried heated glue; It appears to be all over the back of the strip, but that back is slightly concave so I think it might be a little difficult to get it to stick. and I could probably make something tougher using tightly folded heavy-duty aluminum foil from my kitchen drawer.
