I have read many reviews and tried many leather products over the years, but I was looking for a product that would darken the skin and offer protection in rainy weather. This product was voted best in the lists. Darkens skin by 5 tones or more. Be aware of this before use, but it's also listed on the bottle so it shouldn't surprise you. These are oily people so please be careful where you apply it, through the puffy plastic or whatever to protect the bottom surface. I put a heavy coat on this Aussie hat, the kangaroo leather really absorbed the oil. I like the new dark color of the hat. I'll update this post in about a week when everything is dry and I get a chance to wear it in the rain. Consider this product if you are looking for leather protection and it is made in America. Stay dry in the rain my friends. laugh out loud.
