Let me just say I'm a HUGE fan of Encased belt clip cases. I have used them for the last iPhone generations. The belt clip itself is worth buying. However, this iPhone 12 case is a little off the mark this time. This is not a bad case at all. It's just not what I expect from Encased. First, the power button is not protected, and there is a hole for the power button on the side. This makes it very difficult to press the power button. And this allows dust to enter the case between the phone and the back. I have a bit of dust and scratch obsessive compulsive disorder and it bugs me. The back of the case is made of polycarbonate (polycarbonate). The PC is solid, but it can still be scratched, which is a problem for me. To solve this problem I actually use a Spigen Quartz Hybrid in the Encased Belt Clip part in this case. It's a glass back (rated at 9 hours of hardness) and honestly, it fits a belt clip better than the encased case. Note for Encased. I'm really a fan. The iPhone 12 case shouldn't have the power button open. And you need to make some 9 hour glass backs.
