I am preparing for an art festival and I needed dusty paper for the back of all my framed works. My largest frame was 28x40 so this roll worked just right for the width. 30 feet didn't go as far as I thought so I'm ordering a second roll to finish it. heavy enough for my purposes. I had no problems with tearing after application. Typical printer/copy paper weighs 20 lbs, twice as strong. It's not as heavy as butcher paper, though, so decide what you need.
