Review on Lucky Tiger After Shave Tonic by Christine Ellis

Soothing facial treatment

I appreciate classic accessories for wet shaving. I've always alternated between Pinaud Clubman and Fine aftershave products. I ran out of Fine this time and decided to try something I've never tried before in my shaving routine. Enter Lucky Tiger. Lucky Tiger is economical (less expensive than many other brands), has history, and classic looks in a brown bottle. Yes, the bottle is plastic, but most things are plastic these days. What's inside matters, and what's inside is a wet shave dream. Here we have an aftershave that has no drying alcohol, no stinging, and LOTS of soothing and healing properties. It has a light orange/grapefruit scent that lasts about a minute. Since it's not a cologne, I DON'T NEED a scent that lasts longer - just to be comfortable while wearing it. It feels like lotion when rubbed into the skin and I have to say my face has never felt or looked better after shaving. I have sensitive skin and am prone to razor burn. Not with a fresh blade and Lucky Tiger. This toner is a real bomb for soothing inflamed skin. I always apply some witch hazel before I shave after shaving; I probably don't need to do that with this stuff. I highly recommend this product to anyone who loves old school shaving products and loves pampering their face (and wallet!). 5 stars - well done LT!
