I came across them while looking for a way to make the Hori Split Pro wireless but ended up regretting buying the Hori Split Pro and I really liked the Hori but it turned out to be much better. Comparing it to Hori's joysticks, I noticed that one of the main differences is the position of the console in handheld mode. Hori's rail position leaves a gap at the front, making the screen look farther away, while the rail position for those joycon lines fits the controllers nicely and leaves a gap at the back that allows both to dock, but there is one Problem I encountered when docking is that the handles are larger so I had to unplug the USB cables on the side of the dock to make it go all the way down but I can still use my wireless mouse/keyboard and use a 3.0 connected hub. USB port on the back. I like the texture on both sides and the feel of very high quality plastic. The joysticks feel great and the lighting around them looks great, and I could jinx myself for saying that, but the joycon doesn't drift at its best. It's also great that you can customize vibration and turbo as well as additional back buttons. Saving the best for last is the wireless capability which is the greatest benefit of all and comes with a joiner so you can turn it into a controller. I highly recommend them to Hori if you're trying to decide between the two.
