Better than expected

There are many reviews. But here is a list I made that I found after I bought this. Things I wasn't aware of before buying the R.1. No lens or camera micro adjustments! So much time saved! 2. With eye detection my guards are almost 100%. This tiny difference without a mirror makes my life so much happier.3. I don't miss 6-7 fps with a servo. I pulled the trigger, sprayed and prayed for the birds in flight. I managed to save a lot of footage and became much more comfortable with my DSLR. I was sad to turn on the servo and hear the slowness. But to my surprise, I somehow had more goalkeepers in focus and sharp at the same time. Not much different with FPS but holds a lot more. Maybe 7dmkII, 1DXIII or the new 90D and M6mkII (curious to learn about this new version given the untapped benefits mentioned above). Digital zoom when focusing on something very far away? I never knew such a thing existed. But my focus point is a pretty big box compared to my 80D and 6DmkII. Still learning new features. Hope for a smaller selection. (I figured out how to make it smaller) :)5. I actually like the touchpad. I never clicked on it and set the delay to 2 seconds. I also reprogrammed it to do things that won't ruin the photo if I accidentally stumble across it. EOS R to EF Adapter with ring. I love the ring! Super helpful. Currently set to ISO.7. Help with manual focus. Holy shit I love this. Things circled in red are amazing.8. Wireless modem. It's not super fast, but very easy.9. No GPS but it uses my phone with no problem. I wish I didn't have to launch the Canon app before recording, but I'm getting used to it.10. The LCD is much better than my 80D and 6DmkII. It's really useful to turn on moving the focus point with your nose or finger.11. Depth of field and exposure preview. I know what I'm getting with 85mm 1.4 but it's nice to see that. Sometimes when everyone's eyes need to be sharp in a group photo and I just want to rotate the aperture and see it first. Good.
