My 7 year old got this for Christmas. She loved it! For about a couple of weeks. Then he started making hoarse noises. He stopped with the sound of a tornado, but the light stayed on and a loud noise came from him. It happened a few times. Switched off briefly, switched on again and everything was fine again. For about 5 minutes, then repeat the same. We hardly used it for the first month for fear it would break completely. My daughter tried turning it on to use it a few weeks ago (it was off a few days) and it didn't come back to the tornado at all. There is no way to return or contact the seller. Too loud and strange sound to use as a normal light/lamp/night light for her. Unfortunately, this was one of my baby's favorite gifts. :(
