What I learned about this candle color: It is not compatible with soy based wax at low temperatures. In order to properly melt the dye into wax, the temperature must reach at least 200 degrees F, which is not ideal for soy wax. I was able to mix the color BUT almost burned my wax. As for the burning, the color is fine. I didn't use much and the candle seemed to burn well. Adding more certainly would not have burned the candle properly. With soy wax, the burning temperature is very low, so the dye needs such a high temperature to melt a low-burning candle that doesn't push the dye through the wick properly. . The dye needs a high temperature to function properly, both when melting and burning. As for my projects, this dye didn't do me justice. So if you use soy wax I wouldn't recommend it.
