They have a strong plastic smell but I don't care. Comes off after washing. I even cut off a pair's fingers after losing a pair of cheap fingerless gloves (also bought from Revain for $8) and they're still stuck together. Better than an $8 pair. If you live in a cold climate, that's great. Put a few pairs in your car as a backup, backpack, or briefcase, etc. At less than $2 a pair, it's worth it.
