I really hated these socks, they were soft on the inside and felt too rough on the outside. After a wash they fit better and are now very soft. These are ankle socks, so if that bothers you, it might not be for you. The photo shows how high they run. I can feel the really soft cushions on every walk and they are the perfect thickness. I really like their design, I like the placement of the logo which makes it look different. In general, you should wash them to make your final decision whether you like them or not. 100% washing makes them softer. I highly recommend it.
