I have a six year old Maltese-Terrier rescue who is overweight and has never enjoyed going for walks. In the past two years he has gone from 17 pounds (acceptable to his vet) to 29 pounds in weight (unacceptable). In desperation, I purchased Dr. Barbara Royal's book, "The Royal Treatment" and she recommends a raw food diet. Dog got diarrhea after eating just a spoon

Tried giving just a spoon twice to my dog. He got diarrhea both times. Unfortunately, it’s a non refundable item, which I didn’t notice at the time of buying

  • Our finicky Yorkie loves this as a topper on her dry food. Helps soften her BMs too.

  • The product is too expensive for its small size

My dog got sick after eating this food

At first my dog loved this food but within a few days later he started to throw up. I’m not sure why but I discontinued giving him this dog food and he stopped vomiting. Sorry to write this but that was our experience.

  • my dogs like it I serve it sometimes also with dry food.

  • They like it but it’s the texture of Pate so not great to mix with.

Formula changed? Bad batch?

Just a warning. Been feeding the beef version of this food for 2 yrs. No problems. Switched to chicken about six months ago (local purchase) when COVID disruptions started and no more beef. Still no problems. Recently ordered the chicken from Walmart for the first time. My dog got bad diarrhea after just two cans. She was reluctant to eat it also. The cases had a strange red barcode on them.

Picky eater likes this

Used to buy Science Diet because my dog is a picky eater and sometimes has stomach issues. When there was a recall I switched to Instinct and she loves it. I feed her 1/3 can plus half cup of kibble once a day and she has had no more stomach issues. Loves it!
