Be sure to read and measure to ensure you are ordering the correct size. I bought the 1 1/2 lb size and it is too small for a kayak in 5 knot winds. Also, the handles fold inwards rather than outwards. This occurs even when the collar is rotated to hold the handles. An annular ring requires tighter tolerances to be a reliable anchor. Often the grapples don't even grab the ground. I've tried this on sandy and thick muddy bottoms with similar results. If there is grass, then it's definitely the wrong anchor style.
