Holds me in place while rowing

This goes well with my 14ft inflatable. Perfect for sitting and fishing or just hanging out. I haven't taken it in rougher weather, but it works well in calm rivers and streams. I love that it folds up for storage, very handy for a small boat. It bites easily into the ground and can be removed without much effort.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Crumpled

Bracket missing! good for sport

The shackle was missing! This prevents loss of the retaining ring. Otherwise great little kayak anchors. Be sure to attach the rope to the bottom hole and secure it to the shackle with a plastic wire tie. That way, if you get stuck and pull hard, the zip tie will snap and you can pull the anchor back out.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Bad instructions

Handy little anchor with one design feature that needs improvement

This is a great little anchor for fishing with paddleboards. This helps me to keep my position and not to worry about wind and current. The locking mechanism does not hold the anchor well when deployed. It tends to collapse when removed from blocking mode. I hope the design can improve in this part.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Unsuccessful on the second drive.

First use, works well. I use it to secure our kayaks when we rest. Pulled the yaks this afternoon, first drop went well, no problem. They brought it back to the boat. The final fix, I tighten the anchor, and it's just a clasp. The rivet/bolt connecting the breech to the anchor failed during the second trip. Wow. The anchor is now 15 feet deep at the bottom of the lake.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Socket required

This is an anchor. It works. and it adds up.

They stuffed it into a USPS "If it fits, ship it" container with very little padding, and the package fell apart a little. But it's an anchor, it's alright. It won't be damaged in transit (it might damage something else, lol!). It folds up nicely and is the right weight for what I need. I would buy it again if I needed a different anchor. I hope I don't forget to tie it to the boat and don't lose it like the previous one!

  • Great Price
Cons
  • Frequency

Smaller than expected, unreliable anchor

Be sure to read and measure to ensure you are ordering the correct size. I bought the 1 1/2 lb size and it is too small for a kayak in 5 knot winds. Also, the handles fold inwards rather than outwards. This occurs even when the collar is rotated to hold the handles. An annular ring requires tighter tolerances to be a reliable anchor. Often the grapples don't even grab the ground. I've tried this on sandy and thick muddy bottoms with similar results. If there is grass, then it's definitely the…

The little anchor that could! (and does)

I have 2 anchors, a heavy flux anchor and this is the smallest. I have a 22ft pontoon boat on a big river. I'm amazed at how many times I can keep my boat drifting and windy with this little guy. Remember that 80% of any anchor's struggle is "family length and weight" (anchor chain before rope). I have parties with both. I love this little flea, not as a staple but as a lightweight, easy to fix one that I use most of the time in moderate conditions. Saves a lot of work and it's funny how…
