Great suede at a great price and looks just like the sheep it came from. :-) There are instructions on the package on how to season the chamois for the first time, they instruct to soak them in water, rinse and then put them in a pot at 40 degrees Celsius for another 15, which is about 115 degrees Fahrenheit equals minutes and then spread out on the floor to dry. I've heard others say suede smells and I think it smells great, especially when I'm finishing my leather seats - smelly suede brings the smell of new automotive leather back into my car, amazing. I store my suede in a ziplock bag and squeeze out all the air, this method seems to keep the suede soft and smelling nice. A lot of people use suede to dry their car and it's probably fine for that purpose, but I prefer the Meguiar water magnet. Cloth - I use two of these to dry my car and they work great. My favorite way of cleaning leather is to use the meguairs leather cleaner with a leather brush to clean, rub with microfiber and polish with suede.
