The earrings themselves are very beautiful. I am not deducting stars for poor delivery from Revane! My earrings came in a small flat plastic envelope (blue and white with the Revain logo) with no padding. The earrings were on flat pieces of cardboard sealed in plastic bags. Earrings in the Santa hat made the trip unscathed, they are very durable and strong. Very shiny! The deer earrings were bent back and forth, the posts were bent and twisted to the sides. When I tried to straighten the posts (BE CAREFUL!) they broke off. The stand of the deer earring is attached to the horn. If you look closely at the picture you will see that the antlers are only attached to the stone with a very small piece of metal, very thin! In addition, the gemstone is not as Christmassy red as in the photo. The pair I received had a very deep red gem, almost burgundy. I bought a Santa hat earrings set and this set was the same price as the Santa hats themselves so I thought I'd give the reindeer earrings. No dice but no casualties for me as the pair I really wanted survived delivery. The seller should pack the reindeer earrings in a box as Revain makes some amazing decisions when shipping fragile items.
