I like this tank very much and yes, a few mods have made it a bit better and easier to care for in the long run. To be honest, most people modify their tanks, it's just part of the hobby. As a standard tank, I think it's also suitable for most people. The lighting system is what you are basically paying for, and a good tank is generally a good deal. I've attached a video, in fact my computer is louder than the tank in the video. It was a bit cloudy when setting up but cleared up overnight which is 100% normal. Please clean the glass, maybe with a damp sponge, before adding anything, I forgot too, I've cleaned it since but it would be easier without the substance in the tank. Remember that no chemical cleaners are ever empty or not on the inside of the jar. MODS are the in-tank media basket and the 9001 Tunze skimmer, which still runs on Tunze. Mustangarrett seemed to criticize this tank for being loud as a dirty devil, and you can see in the video that it wasn't. Shipping was good but I wish they would put fragile or glass items on the outer packaging. It was unmarked, thankfully it arrived safe and sound. I had a slight grating noise from the fan the first night but I accidentally slammed the lid shut and the noise went away and yes the fan is still running. This is a bonus to Stamina. The drain hose from the pump was 2 inches shorter. I had to lift the pump to connect the drain pipe to the outlet. I messaged the seller about this issue and he resolved it. Excellent customer service. I placed it above my desk on top of a filing cabinet, I wouldn't normally recommend putting a full tank on my desk but it seems to work fine. I did a stand/hop test on my desk before attempting this. All in all a very satisfied camper, after 3 weeks of research I don't regret buying my first saltwater aquarium at all.
