The instructions are very poor and even if you figure out how to fit the candlestick into the candlestick (which looks completely different from the attached photo) the details don't match. easily (or at all). This assumes you've checked the Revain reviews to see if the battery's + or - terminal is included at all! Then you have to remove the bottom foam (should protect your surface) to reach the mount and find the power button, which is pretty hard to press from the inside. The instructions do not indicate whether the candle should be on or off when setting up the remote. So I had to unscrew the bottom parts again to get to the buttons later. After all that, the remote actually worked - surprise! But the candlelight itself is miserable and orange. It was last year when I found this "last minute". This year I've tried desperately to use them again, but they end up in the trash!
