The horse in the promotional image must be a small pony for this mask to fit freely around the head. I needed something to cover a head wound on a 13-3 hand stock pony so I liked the long fit. It only covers the jaw and I had to cut out the ears and eyes because the mesh was so tight on her eyes that she had to keep them covered. The network is also very strong. There's only 2 1/2-3 inches of material between the ears, so she pinched her ears together. With the ears and mesh cut out for the eyes, this works for what I need, but will obviously be useless for fly control now. The material is very silky and seemingly comfortable, stretches well and cleans well.
