As someone who has bought various gaming headsets over the years, there's always a compromise when it comes to headset quality: sound quality or microphone quality. See the last paragraph for the biggest problem. The sound quality is perfect, good range, basses are reproduced without any problems or muddy tones. A small filter at high frequencies, but nothing is spoiled. The quality of the microphone is ok, a headset with a good microphone and a good range is usually difficult to find. The mic is extremely sensitive, get ready for serious audio engineers to find the right volume without your mic reverberating. I had to put a pop filter on it from another mic I had to reduce the sensitivity and clarity a bit. The mic is also one-piece, there's no X-axis flex so you can't move the mic far. The MAIN issue with this headset is how ergonomic it is, my ears are medium sized but expect headaches and aches. of how the headset sits firmly on the ears. I play with the headset almost every day and have never had a headache or pain before this headset. The biggest downsides are honestly that it's uncomfortable and its microphone is extremely sensitive and you can't do anything with it to manipulate it.
