I've spent years trying to find clothes that fit my Miniature Dachshund. Despite being small, she still has a "disproportionately long" back, making it very difficult to find a jacket that will fully cover her in winter, snow or rain. We also live in New York, where it's about half a year too cold for her, so she absolutely needs a warm and well-fitting coat so she can spend time with friends in the park. I originally found this jacket because I needed one with a built in harness. My dog's harnesses recently rubbed a stain on her forearm no matter how many different ones I've tried. And putting on a harness over a coat is very uncomfortable for them. Her hand needed healing and I needed a belt and cloak combo. That was excellent. Very warm fleece on the inside and waterproof and snowproof on the outside. The price is also amazing compared to other options I considered. I still can't believe how well it fits her, all the way down to her back. The leash loops are strong (for her...she's small) and work great. I am so glad I found this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for warm outerwear for their dogs. Just follow the size chart (which I did) and see if your dog's sizes fall into any of these categories. The sizing is very accurate.
