Advantages: Excellent luminous flux. I needed something brighter than "regular" equivalent 75 watt bulbs and they filled the bill. Bad: Out of 4 lamps, 3 died between 10 and 12 months. I suspect that soon the last lightbulb will burn out. It's a shame as the light output is great but not worth changing your headlights every year.
