Review on πŸ’‘ Enhanced Alloy Waterproof Recessed Ceiling Fixtures: Advanced Performance for Durable Lighting Solutions by Angel Scully

They look great, they are good quality. (Electrician)

Very easy installation, good clips, suitable for lamps made in China. As a licensed, professional 30-year-old electrician, here's the problem: If you live in the United States, it will never pass the test because you don't have a hole or enclosure to protect the lightbulb or outlet from fire. I think if you were to use them even with LED bulbs you would certainly be a lot safer if they were on the ceiling. Or you can use them for a project. But if it's in your house, you'll probably get away with it, but you never will if you inspect it. I like that they are waterproof to a certain extent, I don't know how to finish them to resist. But they give off a lot of light compared to very expensive lights, it works much better in the end as the lamp mounted further from the glass gives a better projection angle. If there's a way to find a case to fit the fairing, you could probably avoid it somehow, at least it would be protected in your ceiling, even if you're using LEDs, which would definitely be a smart way. But you never know if the LED is shorted, there's nothing to protect the bowl from burning all your insulation in the ceiling or any other material that's in it.
