I attached them to the bathroom ceiling to light up the tub/shower. The best idea. Now I can if I shave my legs. Tbh, I'm not sure how I lived before, I'm not guessing well. The little button makes all the difference - on, off, double press to toggle from cool to normal to warm, long press to dim or brighten. They are very bright but do not dazzle (e.g. flashlights, headlights, headlamps). I don't use motion detection, can't talk about it because I reach out and turn it on. shower and then switch off. They slowly fade when discharged. I like that they charge via micro USB. There is an indicator that changes color from red to green. Also use them sometimes for DIY projects because instead of attaching them to those silly cheap magnetic strips, they come with a sleek two-piece metal mount. I can literally take a lamp down from the ceiling to light up my project and then just snap it back on - it snaps magnetically into the mount. God I love it when things just work.
