Review on Mabef Lectern Table Easel MBM 34 by Michelle Langley

Well Built Table Easel

I received this easel two days ago and have used it for several watercolors and drawings. I like that. Construction. The construction looks solid. It consists mainly of solid clear wood, which is usually connected with brass-colored screws and bolts. The edges are beveled. The back is made from 5 ply plywood bolted to a wooden frame and has beautifully finished edges that are bevelled on both sides. The dimensions of all parts seem to fit; it is neither flimsy nor unstable. Ready. It appears to have some sort of matte/oiled finish; The whole easel is well polished although rougher than the furniture class. In the future I can retouch the cut in some places for complete smoothness. Ease of Use: More convenient than painting or drawing on a flat tabletop. I love that the back angle is infinitely adjustable and the adjustable (and detachable) top rail can be pushed out far and wedged in to accommodate a large pillow or canvas. The protrusion at the bottom is deep (sticks out about 4cm) and has a wedge shape to keep things from falling out. This is too deep for me to draw comfortably, but I fixed that by placing the book on an easel to set the drawing board at a more comfortable depth. It also folds up easily. Meaning. I wanted a durable, well-constructed drawing and painting easel. The materials, build quality, and finish are noticeably better than a cheaper easel I've returned from another manufacturer. I will keep these. This easel meets my needs and is good value for money.
