I love and enjoy this sponge so much! I used to only use the Real Technics sponge but have found that the texture, feel and application has changed (very hard) with my recent purchases and I was very disappointed. I switched to L'Oreal sponge after reading other positive reviews. So far, so good! It applies my Maybelline Fit Me Foundation flawlessly and rinses off perfectly every time. I haven't had a single tear/crack/fault on this sponge in two months of use. I wash mine with castile soap once a week and it's brand new! That's such a great price. This really is a little gem!
