You need to find someone to cut the piece. Worked perfectly after I trimmed it. I called the locksmith, he wanted $75 just for cutting and not for programming (he was the cheapest). I called the local hardware store that made the keys and they charged $50 to just cut the blade off. Both told me that the key is not guaranteed. Eventually he went to the dealer and he cut it down for $30 plus tax and also said he couldn't guarantee it. The trader offered to program the course for a hefty fee. I went home and started the car with the original key (not a fob) then I started the car with the new fob and it was programmed straight away. It was miraculous, the doors locked and opened, and the trunk opened as soon as I pulled out the key and pressed the remote. Over $100 saved
