Review on Classic Breakaway CAT Collar - Fantasia Pet by Cassandra Parkins

At first I liked this collar. It was cute and I thought tearing it off was a good thing, it fell apart easily when I pulled it myself. I followed the instructions to leave a 2 finger gap (I checked this every day to be sure) and to my dismay I found my kitty with a collar hanging from his jaw that he was choking, the zip tie did NOT work. If I hadn't heard him panting and caught him as quickly as I took the collar off, he would have died. He was traumatized for hours, staring into space, shaking and panting, his tongue bluish. He is now perfectly fine and I just have to say we are lucky and I will NEVER let him wear him again and I would recommend anyone not to buy this for their cat. The breakaway clasp is a key feature and doesn't work. Maybe there is another brand of collar with a safer release function. I would advise finding one if your cat really needs a collar.
