It would be nice to try on a pair before spending $24, but you don't really have much choice as the number of retailers is minimal. I like them a lot because my hands are chapped from washing them a million times a day. Simply apply Gold Bond Healing Lotion to hands and put gloves on overnight. The lotion stays in the glove so you don't have to worry about contamination. You can still touch things without leaving a mark, but I would recommend putting them on right before bed. The quality of the gloves is very good, the fabric feels soft and durable. I wash them on the normal cycle every three uses or so. So far they've held up pretty well. The cuffs have loosened a lot, but are still fine.
