bought these for my son to wear over scouts weekend. He's 5ft 8in, 150lbs, has a slim build and the size of these pants (size petite) is perfect. The length and waist are perfect, not too tight. The temp was between 25F and 35F all weekend, he wore a thin base layer with these pants and was perfectly comfortable. However, the button closure is weak and pops almost every time you lean forward. As in another review stated - NOT WATERPROOF Decent wind insulation, definitely better than jeans but not fully windproof like snowboard pants Pros - Sizing, flexibility for active wear, general warmth - it's just a little weak tongue. I ended up using them as an extra attachment pocket to attach the jacket to the backpack every now and then.
