I think we probably use shower caps faster than others. I use them to cover my hair in the shower, apply conditioner and color and leave for a few hours or overnight, cover dishes as a last resort in the fridge, store in the car, backpack and purse in case it unexpectedly rains . where they catch us without an umbrella to cover our soles of feet in a suitcase etc. They just throw them away after each use. It is better to buy in bulk than at the pharmacy. They're $3 for 15, so that's half the drugstore price. I don't worry about them tearing because we just throw them away. To sleep in it I fold it in half and cover it with a scarf over it so the color (henna) or conditioner doesn't spill, but I've had no problems with that. It's just a precaution.
