Durable, absorbent, reusable towels

I've had a lifelong aversion to using washcloths in the kitchen because they harbor bacteria, odors and dirt. I use disposable paper towels but I feel like I have to use half a roll to do a major clean and they don't even clean that well. This product appears to be a good hybrid solution. It is disposable but also durable and reusable. So right after it's rolled up, it's pretty stiff, like a thick pad for clothes. When they get wet, they immediately soften and become more of a rag. They remind me a bit of disposable towels, but on steroids (they're thicker and stronger). Today I used them to clean the kitchen. I rinsed it and squeezed out the water about 8 times during the cleaning. Apparently he did well with it. It got a little blurrier and a little shabby, but not by much. The product information says you can use it 100 times before throwing it away. I suppose they will look VERY shabby when you get there! They clean up well. They wear out without falling apart. They absorb and hold liquid well. The texture seems good for removing dirt and debris. They are good at picking up dust. When I was done, I hung mine on the oven handle to dry. I don't think I'm ready to go 30 days before throwing this away (that's the max recommendation), but maybe I can last a week.
