I do a lot of computer work from my laptop while lying on the couch. (e.g. photo editing) It was difficult to balance the computer on my feet, get the right angle for the lighting, and keep the car steady enough for the anti-aliasing editing. I didn't want to lock myself away from my family for hours every day, so I looked for an alternative. I spent hours researching and analyzing roundtables before deciding to give this one a try. What I like: * It was easy to put together. * It is durable, both table top and legs. My dogs ran into him when he was on the ground and he didn't fall. * Has multiple incline options. *Drink Holder - I moved mine to a different location so it doesn't get in the way and it's perfect for storing my USB drives. * Side table - allows me to connect and use a mouse. What I don't like: * Legs - they fold up easily, but there's no latch or hook to keep them in place. More than once I tried to carry the tray but the legs fell off making it uncomfortable. * Bumper/stop not high enough. I had to redo mine and add a piece of wood to keep my laptop from falling into a tilted position. Of course, I have a fan that I place under the laptop so it goes higher, but even without a fan, the bumper doesn't extend far beyond the edge of the machine. * It's not as easy to use on the couch as I expected. On the floor or on the table - great. Sitting at the end of the sofa (right side) is uncomfortable. I can get it to work but I have to tilt the table to use it. When I sit in the middle of the sofa it works fine. In general everything is fine. I think if I ever buy another one I'll look at the one with a built in fan and pay more attention to how it folds up for storage.
