Pictures say it all (curly, straight and compare sides)! I have fine, fluffy, curly, not straight, not quite curly hair. My mom keeps telling me to brush my hair because it looks messy. My other comb with hot curls straightened my hair; but it still looked like it would fly and tangle during the day. This hot curl comb completely straightens my hair. I often touch my hair because it is so soft and smooth. This only works well on clean, dry hair. But it smooths out a bit better after using a smoothing cream (let dry before using a brush). Also does a good somersault in the back. Directions give temporary suggestions. 320 degrees works for me. There is a click, but it's normal and not very loud. Control the amount of hair on the brush to avoid hair getting caught or tangled on the brush. The cord is about 5 feet long, just enough to wrap around my head. When using the product, it is recommended to wipe it with a soft cloth after use. So good I threw away my other devices! I definitely recommend this hot curling brush.
