Pretty good metal for beginners Yoyo

After trying Crystal Acryl I settled on Locus v6. Both yoyos react. The Locus v6 is great if you don't already have a solid metal yoyo and want something more durable than your standard entry-level to mid-range plastic yoyos. However, this is its best selling point and also its biggest weakness. It's too heavy in my opinion, even with a heavy metal yo-yo you lose a lot of momentum on easy casts and even harder on long tricks. It looks good and feels good in your hand, but when you play it you might find that you have to put a little more effort into your throws just to keep the momentum needed to pull off tricks like bridges or traps keep. While I like my acrylic yo-yo crystal better not just because it looks cool, I just prefer how much lighter it is and how long it can sleep. This yo-yo should have the bearings replaced, maybe to make it immune, and yet it's still pretty heavy. While this is a good aluminum alloy, I personally still find it too heavy for intermediate to advanced levels of play. Mine to the unresponsive Axel and will update this review.
