They're nice and thick and seem durable BUT (it's a big but) they have an odd texture and ANYTHING goes on these pants. They might be a perfect duster, but for little kids' pants (crawling on the floor, climbing on stuff) they just don't fit. I wore them to school once and it looked like they wiped the floor and everyone's shoes with them. They were reduced to the level of clothing only because they got dirty.
