I used to wear a size L but decided to go up because I didn't want it to be too small on my chest (I'm 36DD) and didn't want it to be too tight on my back, wanted it be flattering. It fits well, although I often tuck it down because the material that's considered a 'long line' goes up very high and it's very annoying, especially since I sometimes tuck my longer tank tops under a sports bra with it they look shorter lets it fall out a lot. I took out the pad because the outline of the pad was visible in the white shirt with the white bra and my breasts tried many times to get a little out of the top of the bra. I wouldn't advise walking if you need assistance. I only lift weights and I've had these issues. Super cute bra and super comfy like Lululemon's but not as supportive as hoped
